"They gave their best today and that is all I can ask of them," Eastern Florida State College men's soccer coach Adam Butler said. "I am proud of them and we accomplished a lot of really good things this season."

The men's soccer team won the Region 8 title as well as the Southeast District Championship this season and came into the national tournament as the No. 2 seed.

Eight sophomores played in their final game at Eastern Florida State College, many of whom finish their two seasons with 22 victories and brought the program back to the national tournament for the first time in four years.
