Men's soccer team hosts No. 1 Monroe College Saturday night at Orlando Health Stadium
The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will host No. 1 Monroe College in a matchup of top 10 teams in the nation on Saturday night.
The seventh-ranked Titans come into the 7 p.m. contest 8-1 this season and are 8-0-2 at home in the past 10 games.
Monroe College is 7-0-1 on the season after finishing with a tie against No. 12 Daytona State College Thursday night at Orlando Health Stadium. Monroe has outscored opponents 32-2 this season and are the defending national champions.
The Mustangs are led by the duo of Tal Torgeman and Sunao Yamamoto have each scored five goals this season.
Eastern Florida State College's Daniele Verdirosi and Daiki Okada have each scored seven goals this season. Verdirosi has also assisted on seven goals this season.
Saturday night's game will kick off at 7 p.m. at Orlando Health Stadium on the Melbourne campus. The game will be broadcast live on WEFS-TV, channel 9 or 455 on Spectrum, 68 on DirecTV, 30 on Dish and 68 on AT&T Uverse. The game will also be shown live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
