Men's soccer team rises one spot in NJCAA Division I poll

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team moved up one spot to No. 16 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll released on Monday.

The Titans had another unbeaten week as they defeated both USC Sumter and USC Lancaster on the road.

Iowa Western remains No. 1 with a 14-0 record while Salt Lake remains No. 2 and Monroe College, who the Titans tied last month, is third. Cowley and Tyler Junior College round out the top five.

Eastern Florida State College will host Lakeland United FC Saturday night at Orlando Health Stadium at 7 p.m. Daytona State College, who will host the Titans on Oct. 22, gained one spot to No. 8 in the poll. Eastern Florida State College won the first meeting this season 3-1.
