Men's soccer team shuts out USC Sumter

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team posted an 8-0 victory against USC Sumter Friday afternoon in South Carolina.

The 17th-ranked Titans have a five-game unbeaten streak and head into Sunday's game at USC Lancaster allowing just two goals during the streak.

Meanwhile the offense was clicking as sophomore Jaidon Seldon recorded his first hat trick of the season, getting the Titans on the board in the first half and scored two more in the second half. Seldon now has five goals this season.

Jack Nelson scored a goal in each half for the Titans, putting away a penalty kick in the first half and then scoring again in the second half. The freshman now has a team-leading nine goals.

Izon Gill, Rafael Soto and Thomas Duggan all scored goals in the win for the Titans. It was Duggan's sixth goal of the season and has now scored in each of the past two games.

Eastern Florida State College will go to Lancaster, South Carolina for a game Sunday at noon.
