Eastern Florida State College will host 2022 NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer National Tournament

Eastern Florida State College will host the men's soccer NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament in 2022.

The school has hosted the women's national championship tournament eight times, but this will be the first time that the men's national champion will be crowned at Orlando Health Stadium on the Melbourne campus.

"We are really excited about hosting the National Championship for men's soccer! We love showcasing our campus and our soccer facilities," Eastern Florida State College Associate Vice President of Athletics  Jeff Carr said. "I think it was a no brainer to host the men after hosting the women so many times.  This will make a huge economic impact to the community from teams coming from all over the country and spending money here in Brevard County. The reason we have big-time facilities is to host events like this on a regular basis."

The men's soccer program has made it to the national championship tournament four times and have made it to the national tournament semifinals three times.

Iowa Western won their second national championship in men's soccer in the Fall. The national championship tournament will be held November 14-19, 2022.
