Men's soccer team hosts Daytona State Wednesday to stay alive in conference race

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team is hosting Daytona State College Wednesday night with the Region VIII Conference title on the line.

The Titans come into Wednesday's game needing a win to stay alive in the Region VIII conference. Eastern Florida State College is 5-5 overall and lost to the Falcons in the first of a best-of-three series on Saturday night.

Wednesday night's game will be at 6 p.m. at Orlando Health Stadium on the Melbourne campus.

Daytona State College comes into the matchup 10-1-1 and No. 9 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll and are led by Yutaro Tsukada who has 16 goals including one against the Titans on Saturday night.

Eastern Florida State College will look to keep their season alive after the 3-0 road loss Saturday night.

Wednesday night's game will begin at 6 p.m. at Orlando Health Stadium on the Melbourne campus will be broadcast live locally on WEFS-TV, channel 9 on Spectrum, 68 on DirecTV and 30 on Dish. Admission to Orlando Health Stadium is free.
