The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team picked up a tough road win Tuesday night, defeating ASA Miami 1-0 in a Region 8 Conference game.
Freshman Mario Licor scored a sensational goal in the 75th minute to break a 0-0 tie. It was Licor's first goal of the season and sent the No. 3-ranked Titans to a 2-0 record in the conference. Eastern Florida State College is 6-1 overall.
"It was a very tough game, proud of our ability to keep another clean sheet and get three points away from home," Eastern Florida State College men's soccer coach Oliver Twelvetrees said. "Excited to see homegrown forward Mario get off the mark with a fantastic strike from outside of the box tonight."
The Titans will be back at Titan Soccer Complex next Tuesday, hosting ASA Miami at 6 p.m. Admission is free.
