Men's soccer team No. 5 seed in tournament, open Tuesday vs. Cowley

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team is the No. 5 seed in the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament at Daytona State College.

The Titans reached the NJCAA National Tournament for the third time in six seasons by defeating Georgia Military in the Southeast District Championship game in Milledgeville, Georgia last weekend.

Eastern Florida State College is 14-4 on the season and in Pool D with No. 4 seed Marshalltown and No. 9 Cowley.

Pima Community College is the No. 1 seed as the West champion and are 22-2 this season. The defending national champions Tyler Junior College is the No. 2 seed.

The national tournament begins Monday, Nov. 12. The Titans will play Cowley at 5 p.m. Tuesday and then face Marshalltown Wednesday at 5 p.m. The semifinals are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 16 and the championship game Saturday, Nov. 17.
