Men's golf team ranked fifth in national poll

The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team is ranked fifth in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA DI Coaches Poll released on Friday.

The Titans have finished second in three of the four tournaments this spring and moved from sixth to fifth place in the national poll.

Hutchinson continues to be No. 1 in the poll with New Mexico Junior College second, Midland third and Dodge City fourth.

Western Texas fell from No. 3 to No. 6 in the poll.

Eastern Florida State College will compete in the Barry Buccaneer Invitational April 3-4 in Miami Beach. It will be the final tournament before the Southeast District Championship which will be held in Viera.
