Men's golf team off to slow start at Keiser Kup

The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team struggled in the first round of the Keiser Kup Sunday in West Palm Beach.

The Titans shot a 310 at the Okeeheelee Golf Course and are sitting in 10th place overall.

Sophomore Murphy Allard is tied for 19th overall after shooting a 2-over 73 in the first round while teammate Adam Vermut shot a 76. Bryan Hernandez shot an 80 while Brandon Boncore and Nick Miller each shot 81.

The second round of the tournament will be held Monday morning with the final round scheduled for Tuesday.
