Men's golf team finishes 10th in the McDonough Cup

The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team finished 10th in the McDonough Cup at Rio Pinar Country Club on Tuesday.

The Titans shot a final round 300 to finish at 892 for the tournament, finishing one stroke behind the University of Tampa and Flagler College. Rollins College won the event, shooting an 871 as a team.

Sophomore Beck Fox finished with a 75 and tied for 11th overall with a 3-over 219 while teammate Josh Stern was tied for 18th after carding a second straight 73 to finish the tournament 4-over 220.

Chandler Dixon rebounded with a strong final round 74 to finish tied for 71st. Ben Ramos shot a 78 and Ryan McMillan shot an 80 in the final round.

The Titans will travel to Central Alabama for the Central Alabama CC Fall Invitational Nov. 5 and 6 to wrap up the fall season.
