
Men's basketball team wins 20th of season, beats St. Petersburg College
The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team won their 20th game of the season Saturday afternoon on the road.
The Titans, who are 20-3 overall and 9-1 in the Citrus Conference, defeated St. Petersburg College in a Citrus Conference game 90-66.
Emondrek Erkins-Ford picked up his fifth double-double of the season, scoring 19 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in the win. Corey Caulker and Fredy-Salam Sylla each scored 14 points while teammate Felipe Patino hit three 3-pointers to finish with 11 points.
Brandon Davis finished with a game-high 23 points for St. Petersburg College.
It is the fourth straight season that the Titans have won at least 20 games in a season.
Eastern Florida State College will be back on the road Wednesday night, travelling to Santa Fe College for a conference game beginning at 7 p.m. The Titans will be back at Titan Field House next Saturday against Indian River State College at 4 p.m.
