The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team picked up a road win to improve to 8-1 this season on Wednesday night.

Freshman Afan Trnka had a big second half to help the Titans pick up the 68-61 victory against Palm Beach State College.

Trnka hit a long 3-pointer as the shot clock was about to expire to give the Titans a 60-55 lead with five minutes remaining. He finished with 10 points in the half and a season-high 14 points in the game for the Titans.

Eastern Florida State College's Emondrek Erkins-Ford made a layup in the final seconds to send the Titans to halftime tied 29-29.

The second half saw the lead trade hands 11 times but the Titans went on a 7-0 run in the span of two minutes started by a Matija Zuzic 3-pointer and then Owen Aquino and Trnka each had baskets as the Titans led 55-50 with 7:32 left.
