The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team lost for the first time this season, falling to No. 4 Salt Lake Community College in a battle of top 20 teams Thursday at the FSW Classic.
The Titans, who are No. 20 and now 5-1 on the season, fell to the Bruins 72-55 at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers.
Eastern Florida State College traded the lead with Salt Lake six times in the first half and trailed by just three at halftime.
But Salt Lake went on a run early in the second half and went on to post the win.
Owen Aquino led the Titans with 13 points, five rebounds and four assists while teammate Emondrek Erkins-Ford had 10 points.
Salt Lake's Zaon Collins led all scorers with 19 points.
Eastern Florida State College will play Central Georgia Tech on Friday at 5 p.m. at the FSW Classic.
