Men's basketball team hosts St. Petersburg Saturday on WEFS-TV

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team is back at Titan Field House on Saturday for a Central Conference game.

The 20th-ranked Titans, who are 17-6 overall and 7-1 in the conference, will host St. Petersburg College at 4 p.m.

The first matchup went right down to the final seconds as Andres Burney had a dunk with 2.5 seconds remaining to give Eastern Florida State College a 44-42 victory. Burney comes into Saturday contest playing some of his best basketball of the season. The sophomore from Brundidge, Alabama has scored at least 23 points in each of the past two games and has scored at least 13 in the past 11 games.

St. Petersburg College, who is looking for their first conference win of the season, has three players scoring at least 13 points per game this season as Brenden Williams, Jaden Ezomo and Joshua Meo lead the Titans offensively.

Saturday's game will tip off at 4 p.m. and admission is free. The game will also be shown on WEFS-TV, which is channel 9 or 455 on Spectrum, 68 on DirecTV, 30 on Dish and 68 on AT&T Uverse. The game will also be shown live online at EFSC Titans YouTube page.
