Six players named to all-Central Conference teams

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team had six players honored by the Central Conference coaches.

Roberts Berze, Brody Boyer and Vlad Salaridze made the all-Central Conference first team while Reggie Hill, Markus Harding and Justin Reid all made the second team.

Berze, a second-year freshman from Sigulda, Latvia, averaged 11.1 points per game in 30 games and has hit 37.2 percent of his 3-pointers.

Boyer, a third-year sophomore from Palm Bay, is averaging 9.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.7 points per game. Boyer made the All-Central Conference second team last season.

Salaridze, a second-year freshman from Tbilisi, Georgia, averaged 7.4 points and 6.1 rebounds per game this season. The wing made the All-Central Conference second team last season.

Hill, a second-year freshman from Melbourne, is averaging 8.5 points and 6.8 rebounds in 26 games this season. The 6.8 rebounds is ranked 11th in the state.

Harding, a second-year freshman from Toronto, Canada, is averaging 7.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. The center is hitting 59.6 percent of his shots.

Reid, a second-year freshman from Miami, is averaging 8.4 points and 6.4 rebounds this season. The wing has scored 354 points and 284 rebounds in two seasons with the Titans.

The men's basketball team will open the FCSAA State Tournament on Wednesday against No. 3 seed Northwest Florida State College at 3 p.m. EST.
