Men's basketball team hosts Daytona State Wednesday on WEFS-TV

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team looks to bounce back after a loss last Saturday in the Central Conference.

The Titans will return to Titan Field House where they are 7-3 this season, hosting Daytona State College in a Central Conference matchup at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on WEFS-TV. 

Eastern Florida State College comes into the matchup 16-7 overall and tied for second place in the conference at 6-2. The Titans beat Daytona State College 74-62 in the first matchup on Jan. 15 and will look to win the season series Wednesday night. The Falcons come into the game 1-7 in the conference and 9-14 on the season. Reggie Quezada is among the top scorers in Region VIII, averaging 17.7 points per game for Daytona State College.

 Eastern Florida State College's Markus Harding is shooting 61.3 percent from the floor this season which is fourth in the state. The duo of Roberts Berze and Derrick Butler are each averaging 11 points per season as the Titans have six guys averaging at least eight points per game.

Wednesday night's game will be shown live on WEFS-TV which is channel 9 or 455 on Spectrum, 68 on DirecTV, 30 on Dish and 68 on AT&T Uverse. Admission is free to games at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.
