Men's basketball team falls to Santa Fe on the road

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team lost a Central Conference game on the road Saturday. 

The Titans fell behind early and could not catch up as Santa Fe picked up the 68-53 road to remain unbeaten at home this season.

Eastern Florida State College lost for the first time since the conference opener as the Titans are now 6-2 in the conference and 16-7 overall.

Down 33-21 at halftime, Eastern Florida State College would cut the lead to nine on multiple occasions but could not get much closer.

Roberts Berze finished with 11 points and Justin Reid had nine points and five rebounds. Reggie Hill led the team with 11 rebounds.

Eastern Florida State College will be back at Titan Field House Wednesday night, hosting Daytona State College for a Central Conference game that will be shown live on WEFS-TV. The game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. and admission is free to Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.
