Men's basketball team back home for game on Wednesday night

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team is back at Titan Field House Wednesday night after a busy holiday weekend.

The Titans come into the matchup as the 24th-ranked team in the NJCAA Division I poll and will welcome ASA College Wednesday for a 7 p.m. tip-off at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.

ASA College comes into the game 2-6 on the season and is led by a trio of players averaging at least 12 points per game. Isaiah Mayes and Leonard Wilson are each averaging 14 points a game while Akene Agee is averaging 12.

Eastern Florida State College is 6-3 this season and is led by freshman Derrick Butler who is averaging 13.3 points in seven games while sophomore Brody Boyer is averaging 11.4 points in nine starts and Roberts Berze is averaging 10 points in nine games.

Wednesday night's game will be the first of two games this week for the Titans at Titan Field House. On Saturday, Eastern Florida State College will host Miami Dade at 4 p.m. before traveling to Pennsylvania for a couple of games next weekend. Admission to Titan Fied House is free.
