The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team bounced back with an impressive win against No. 17 South Georgia Technical College Friday afternoon at the Florida vs. Georgia JUCO Basketball Classic in Bradenton.
The seventh-ranked Titans used a big second half, scoring 58 points to pick up the 90-63 victory as four players scored at least 10 points in the contest led by the duo of Roberts Berze and Brody Boyer who each had 16 points. Teammate Brandon Garcia finished with 15 and Markus Harding had 10, all in the second half.
While the offense was clicking the defense held the Jets, a team who came into the tournament averaging 103 points per game, to 63 points.
The Titans will wrap up the tournament Saturday against Georgia Highlands College at 4 p.m.
