Williams, Dugazon named Orlando Health Student-Athletes of the Week

Eastern Florida State College basketball players Skye Williams and Brian Dugazon were named Orlando Health Student-Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Jan. 5.

Williams, a sophomore from Indianapolis, Indiana, averaged 16 points, six rebounds and three assists in the team's three games this week. The guard posted her second double-double of the season against No. 1 Gulf Coast State College and has now scored at least 10 points in 15 of the 17 games this season.

Dugazon, a freshman from Lauderdale Lakes, averaged 17.5 points in the two games this week for the Titans. The guard scored a season-high 24 points in a win against Palm Beach State College and followed that up with 11 points off the bench against the Florida State College at Jacksonville.

Both basketball teams will travel to the College of Central Florida on Wednesday night. The doubleheader begins with the No. 25 ranked women at 5:30 p.m. and then the men will play the Patriots in a Mid-Florida Conference game at 7:30 p.m.

Both teams will be back at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus on Saturday with the women playing at 2 p.m. and the men at 4 p.m.
