Men's basketball program hosting high school team camp

Eastern Florida State College is hosting a high school team camp beginning Monday with 13 teams scheduled to attend.

The camp will be held Monday through Wednesday with games beginning at 3 p.m. each day at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus of Eastern Florida State College and fans are welcome to attend.

Games will be 20-minute halves with a running clock and begins with Melbourne High School playing Palmetto High and Bayside facing Satellite High at 3 p.m. Monday. Astronaut, Holy Trinity, Merritt Island and Titusville are among the area teams competing in the camp as well as some teams from outside the area.

There will be two games at a time during the afternoon camp with games scheduled every hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 3- to 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Here is Monday's schedule:

3 p.m. – Melbourne vs. Palmetto; Bayside vs. Satellite

4 p.m. – Melbourne vs. Astronaut; Vero Beach vs. Holy Trinity

5 p.m. – Bayside vs. Merritt Island; Satellite 2 vs. Covenant Christian

6 p.m. – Astronaut vs. Palmetto; Satellite vs. Vero Beach
