The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball won its regular season opener Friday afternoon at the Tallahassee Tip-Off Classic.
The Titans, who are No. 5 in the NJCAA Division I preseason poll, defeated East Georgia State 99-69.
Eastern Florida State College shot 50 percent from the floor for the game and led the entire game.
Freshman Jonathan Ned scored a game-high 21 points in his first game as a Titan while sophomore Junior Madut finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Nathanael Jack and Johnny Bernard each had 11 points and Jalen Warren finished with eight points and five assists in the win.
