Men's basketball team to honor sophomores after Saturday's home game

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team will host Florida State College at Jacksonville Saturday afternoon in the final home game of the season for the Titans.

After the important Mid-Florida Conference game, Titans head coach Jeremy Shulman will recognize the eight sophomores who will be taking the court at Titan Field House for the final time.

"It's really emotional because the eight sophomores have made unbelievable contributions to the family, to Eastern Florida not only the basketball team but the college in general," Shulman said on Inside Titan Sports television show that aired Friday night. "It will be very hard to say goodbye to those guys. It's very bitter sweet. The imprint they have left at Eastern Florida will stay for a long time. People years from now will remember what they have accomplished."

Ahmed Ali, Michael Nuga, Eli Abaev, Shaq Carter, Shaq Seville, Ezekiel Balogun, Kaleel Solomon and Silas Adheke will all be honored after the 2 p.m. game that will be shown live on WEFS-TV and online at efsctitans.com/webcast.
