Men's basketball team defeats Coastal Alabama

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team hit 13 3-pointers to defeat Coastal Alabama-North 82-47 at Northwest Florida State College Saturday afternoon.

The Titans came out fast in the second half, outscoring Coastal Alabama 48-24 to improve to 3-1 on the season. Ahmed Ali led the offensive attack with 18 points while Michael Nuga had 11 in the contest. Silas Adheke grabbed 13 rebounds in 14 minutes on the court.

Eastern Florida State College once again showcased a balanced scoring attack as 11 players scored and the bench scored 35 points in the game. Coastal Alabama-North has played Northwest Florida State and Pensacola this season, beating Pensacola and losing a tight game with Northwest Florida State.

The Titans will trave to Broward College Wednesday night for a 7 p.m. game. The home opener will be Nov. 20 against Miami Dade.
