Men's basketball team drops South Georgia Tech

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team's bench scored 50 points as the Titans defeated South Georgia Tech 85-57 in the Seals Financial Tip-Off Classic in Tallahassee Friday afternoon.

The Titans led fro start to finish and all 12 players who dressed played in the win as Eastern Florida State College improved to 2-1 on the season.

The frontcourt led the way as Shaq Carter, Ruot Monyyong and Silas Adheke combined for 26 points and 25 rebounds on 12 of 15 shooting. Carter and Adheke each finished with eight points and eight rebounds, while freshman Ruot Monyyong had a career high 10 points and nine rebounds.

Nathanael Jack led the Titans with 18 points, hitting four 3-pointers while Ahmed Ali had 11 points, Jalen Warren and Ezekiel Balogun each had 10. Logan Folsom had a team-high five assists.

The Titans will travel to Northwest Florida State College to play Coastal Alabama at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
