The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team lost for the first time this season, falling to St. Petersburg on the road.
The teams were tied 34-34 at the half, but St. Petersburg scored 50 points in the second half to beat the Titans 84-75.
Ahmed Ali and Kareem Brewton once again paced Eastern Florida State College as Ali had 21 points, while Brewton finished with 20. Jhery Matos chipped in with 12 as the Titans fell to 5-1. The team will look to rebound Saturday afternoon, traveling for a rematch with Polk State.
