Noah Horchler, a 6-foot, 8-inch 200-pound forward has signed to play for Eastern Florida's men's basketball team for the 2016-2017 campaign.

Horchler, from Melbourne, Florida and Melbourne High, averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds per game, shooting 60 percent from the floor, as the Bulldogs reached the state Final Four.

Horchler was named Space Coast Boys Basketball Player of the Year and was a third team All-State honoree.

"We truly have a steal in Noah Horchler," said Eastern Florida head coach Jeremy Shulman. "The whole country will know that name by this time next year.

"Noah is a versatile forward with outstanding length and athleticism. He also is very skilled, and is a great shooter. With his work ethic, Noah will blossom into a special player in an Eastern Florida uniform."

Horchler joins teammate Logan Folsom, a 5-foot, 9-inch, 170-pound point guard; Ahmed Ali, a 5-foot, 11-inch, 165-pound point guard from BTB Prep in Toronto, Canada, and Shaq Carter, a 6-foot, 9-inch 240-pounder from Zion Lutheran High in Deerfield Beach, Florida as signees.

The Titans won their fourth consecutive FCSAA Southern Conference championship last season, becoming the first team to post a 15-0 record.

Shulman was named conference coach of the year for the fourth straight time.

The Titans qualified for the NJCAA Division I men's national tournament for the second straight time. They finished the season 27-5.
