Three Titans Moving on to NCAA Programs for Men's Basketball

Three Eastern Florida men's basketball players have signed NCAA Letters of Intent.

FCSAA Southern Conference Player of the Year, All-State honoree and second-team NJCAA All-American point guard C.J. Jackson signed with Ohio State. Forward B.J. Gladden signed with Georgia Southern; and forward Djordje Beronja signed with the University of Charleston, West Virginia.

Jackson, from Charlotte, North Carolina and Montverde Academy, started all 32 games and led the Titans in minutes played per game at 33.3; scoring at 16.9 points per game; assists at 4.4 per game; steals at 2.3; three-point percentage at 45.0; and free throw percentage, 73.4.

Gladden, from Charlotte and the University of Akron, led in rebounding at 9.7 per game. Beronja, from Novi Grad, Bosnia, was third at 5.3. Gladden was third in scoring at 11.7 and Beronja fourth at 9.7.

Gladden was an FCSAA All-State and All-Southern Conference first-team selection. Beronja was a second-team honoree.

Beronja, an All-Conference first-team selection as a freshman, holds the record for wins as a two-year starter at Eastern Florida, 56.

Eastern Florida won its fourth consecutive Southern Conference championship this past season under head coach Jeremy Shulman, going 15-0 in the conference.

The Titans also made their second straight appearance in the NJCAA Division I national championship tournament.
