The Eastern Florida State College baseball team lost both ends of a doubleheader in Ocala on Saturday afternoon.

The Titans took the first game of the series but lost 10-2 in seven innings and 10-0 in five innings to the College of Central Florida, falling to 3-3 in the Citrus Conference.

The College of Central Florida came into the day as one of the state leaders in home runs and hit four in the doubleheader.

In Game 1 they hit three, two by Victor Martinez, the first giving the Patriots the lead in the second inning. The Titans managed just two hits, a double from Kevin Smith and a single from Bo Tabola.

In Game 2, the Patriots bats had 10 runs on 14 hits in the win. Jason Mack and Shane Thomas had the two Titans hits.

Eastern Florida State College will look to get back on track Thursday afternoon, traveling to Seminole State College to start a conference series with the Raiders. The Raiders won the series against Miami Dade last week and come into the series 3-3 as well in the conference.

Thursday's game at Seminole State College begins at 2 p.m. with the doubleheader back at Bruce Bochy Field Saturday beginning at noon.
