Kenneth Robinson named Region 8 Pitcher of Week

Eastern Florida State College baseball pitcher Kenneth Robinson is named the NJCAA Region 8 Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 31.

The freshman from Tampa tossed a complete game shutout against St. Petersburg College on Saturday, helping the Titans pick up the series win.

Robinson allowed just three hits and struck out five in the game with one walk. No hitter advanced into scoring position for St. Petersburg in the game.

For the season, Robinson is 6-2 with a 2.06 ERA and has allowed just one run in the past 18 innings of work.

Robinson is scheduled to pitch on Saturday against Polk State College at Bruce Bochy Field. The Titans will travel to Seminole State College Tuesday before beginning the three-game series against Polk State College on Thursday.
