The Eastern Florida State College baseball game had a bad day on the road Thursday evening.
The Titans fell to 8-11 in the Citrus Conference after a 12-1 loss in five innings at St. Petersburg College in the first of a three-game series. The teams will meet in a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. at Bruce Bochy Field.
St. Petersburg would open the game with four runs in the first and then an eight-run fifth inning ended the game.
Hector Mangual had both of the Titans' hits and drove in the lone run in the third inning.
Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m. and admission is free. The games will be shown live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
