Baseball team falls on the road

The Eastern Florida State College baseball team lost a close game on the road Wednesday afternoon, falling 3-1 at Seminole State College.

Titans starter Brady Guthrie allowed two earned runs over 4 2/3 innings, striking out four while Grayson Adams came into the game in the fifth and kept the Raiders scoreless the rest of the way.

Offensively, the Titans cut into the lead in the fifth inning when Keybar Lopez singled and scored on Dalton Robinson's double.

Gabriel Cruz, Robinson and Ryne Wallace each had two hits in the game.

Eastern Florida State College will be back at Bruce Bochy Field Saturday at 2 p.m. against the State College of Florida, Manatee.
