The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will be at Bruce Bochy Field Friday evening for a must-win Southern Conference game against South Florida State College.

The Titans come into the contest in a race for the second postseason spot, tied with South Florida State College and one game behind Indian River State College.

"This is a must-win game for us and it will honestly be all-hands on deck as we are looking to finish the regular season on a high note and make it to the postseason," Eastern Florida State College baseball coach Steven Brown said. "I am extremely proud of the way this team has continued to fight and play hard."

The Titans will send sophomore KC Swords to the mound on Friday. The left-hander is 5-5 with a 4.95 ERA this season. In his last start against South Florida State College he was unhittable for the first five innings, going seven innings with nine strikeouts in a loss.

Friday's game will also be Little League Day at Bruce Bochy Field as teams are welcome to come to the park early and meet with the team, then will have the opportunity to run the bases after the game. Admission is free to games at Bruce Bochy Field on the Melbourne campus.
