Baseball team finishes regular season with 30 wins

The Eastern Florida State College baseball team won the regular-season finale 7-4 Saturday afternoon against Broward College.
 
The win was No. 30 on the season for the Titans who swept the weekend series with the Seahawks to improve to 14-10 in the Southern Conference.
 
Austin Bates has two doubles and drove in two runs for the Titans. The sophomore catcher has now had a hit in 28 straight games which is the most in EFSC history. 
 
Teammate Kevin Silva also drive in two runs in the win. Connor Brian picked up the win in relief, pitching two scoreless innings.
 
The Titans will host the Southeastern Conference Tournament on Wednesday and Thursday. Broward will play Indian River at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Bruce Bochy Field with the winner facing the Titans at 6:30 p.m. in the first of a beat-of-three series. Admission to Bruce Bochy Field is free.
