The Eastern Florida State College baseball team rallied back to defeat Indian River State College 6-5 in a Southern Conference game Saturday afternoon on the road.

Down 5-1 in the sixth inning, Clayton Stanley hit his fourth home run of the season, a two-run shot to cut the lead to 5-3.

Then in the seventh inning, Collier Rutledge singled, then Steven Lugo singled. Kevin Silva drove both of them in on a single and then scored on Alejandro Rodriguez double to give the Titans a 6-5 lead.

Starter Connor Brian picked up the win with six solid innings and Alex Carpenter got the hold with two scoreless innings with Borris Villa picking up the save. The win snapped a five-game losing streak as they lost the second game 4-3 in 11 innings. It was finished before Game 3 began after the lights went out at Bruce Bochy Field, suspending the game on Friday.

The Titans (22-16, 10-8) will host Keiser University JV at Bruce Bochy Field on Monday at 6 p.m. in a non-conference game.
