Baseball team loses to Seminole State College

The Eastern Florida State College lost to Seminole State College for the second time in two days, falling 7-5 on the road Wednesday afternoon.

The Titans, who are now 2-3 on the season, tied the game 5-5 in the top of the eighth inning, but Seminole State came back with two runs in the bottom of the eighth and went on to win the game.

Clayton Stanley went 3-for-3 and Steven Lugo hit his first home run of the season, scoring two runs and drove in two runs in the game.

Eastern Florida State College will travel to Lake Sumter State College Saturday for a 1 p.m. game. The Titans will be back at Titan Field House on Monday evening against the State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota. First pitch is 5 p.m. and admission is free to Bruce Bochy Field.
