Jacob McFadden is the NJCAA Region 8 baseball player of the week

Eastern Florida State College's Jacob McFadden is the NJCAA Region 8 baseball player of the week for the week ending Feb. 19.

In three games for the Titans, McFadden hit .467 with three runs scored, two home runs and 10 runs batted in. The sophomore from Seminole hit safely in all three games and went 4-for-6 with two home runs and seven RBI against Lake Sumter.

The outfielder is hitting .429 with four home runs, 13 runs scored and 18 RBI in 12 games this season.

The Titans are No. 10 in the latest Region 8 poll.

McFadden and the Titans will be home Thursday afternoon, hosting CCBS Catonsville at 3 p.m. at Bruce Bochy Field on the Melbourne campus.
