Bio

Michael Parsons joined Eastern Florida State College in July, 2016 after spending 13 years at Florida Today as both the sports editor and a writer where he covered Eastern Florida State College as well as Florida Tech athletics.

Michael came to Brevard County from Charlotte County where he was the sports editor at The Sun newspaper for five years. He has covered everything from Major League Baseball and MLS soccer to NASCAR and the LPGA Tour in his career. 

The Addison, New York native attended SUNY Morrisville and has worked in the newspaper business for over 25 years. He is married to his wife, Lisa.
