Titan Sports Communications

Welcome to the Eastern Florida State College Athletic Communications page. Eastern Florida sponsors 13 intercollegiate varsity athletic programs, seven women’s and six men’s. All compete at the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I level and in the Florida College System Activities Association Southern Conference.

Women's sports are basketball, soccer, softball, tennis, golf, cross country and volleyball. Men compete in baseball, basketball, golf, tennis, cross country and soccer.

The Eastern Florida State College Athletic Communications Office provides the media and the public with current information regarding varsity athletics to generate understanding, promotion and support for the program.

Athletics Interview Procedures & Contact Info

Interviews with Eastern Florida State College’s coaches and student-athletes are encouraged, and every effort will be made to accommodate media requests. All requests for interviews of any student-athlete or coach must be made through Mike Parsons in the EFSC Athletic Communications Office.

Photo Requests

The Athletic Communications Office can provide high-resolution head shots of coaches and student-athletes upon request.

Postgame Reports

If your institution is visiting Eastern Florida State College for an NJCAA sanctioned sporting event, the Athletic Communications Office will gladly e-mail the game news release to your athletic communications staff and your local media. Please contact the Athletic Communications Office prior to the event with a list of postgame media outlets you would like contacted.

In-Person Game Coverage

Coverage of Eastern Florida State College athletic events is encouraged and every effort will be made to accommodate media outlets and visiting communication staffers. Please contact Mike Parsons at least 24 hours prior to the event to arrange seating and other necessities related to coverage.

A native of Addison, New York, Mike has worked in the newspaper business for over 25 years including the past 13 at Florida Today as both the sports editor and reporter covering Eastern Florida State College as well as Florida Tech.
