Four student-athletes named Orlando Health athletes of the week

It was a big week for Eastern Florida State College athletes and four players were named the Orlando Health Student-Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Nov. 3.

Women's soccer player Francesca Espinoza scored three goals in the Region 8 Tournament including the game winner in overtime that sent the Titans to the Southeast District Tournament. The freshman from Viera has scored nine goals this season and has now scored in three straight games and has a goal or assist in the past six games.

It is the second time Espinoza has been named Orlando Health athlete of the week.

Women's basketball player Natalia Beaumont had a big debut for the Titans, scoring 49 points and grabbing 17 rebounds in two games at the Indian River State College Tip-Off Classic. The freshman from Sydney, Australia also blocked six shots as the Titans went 2-0 in the tournament.

A pair of men's golfers teamed up to make sure the Titans kept the Collegiate Players Cup as Josh Yang and Drew Lanier won both their four-ball match and the foursome match to give the Titans two points in the 5.5-2.5 win over Florida Tech.
