EFSC sporting events cancelled due to storm

The Eastern Florida State College sporting events scheduled for this weekend have been cancelled due to Hurricane Dorian.

The women's soccer team will not make the trip to Wichita, Kansas and cancelled their games against Butler Community College and Navarro College.

The volleyball team's home opener Friday night against Webber International JV has also been postponed. The team also will not participate in the Florida Southwestern tournament on Tuesday.

The men's soccer team will be playing Laramie County Community College tonight at 8 p.m. at Titan Soccer Complex and admission is free.

The women's soccer team is scheduled to be back at Titan Soccer Complex Sept. 6 against Laramie County Community College. The game will begin at 8 p.m.

The volleyball team is scheduled to head to New Port Richey on Friday for the Bobcat Invitational, playing Indian River State College and Lake Sumter.
