Titan women's tennis named to ITA All-Academic Team

The Eastern Florida State College women's tennis team was named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association JUCO women's All-Academic Team.

The Titans were one of 20 Junior College teams that were recognized by the ITA, which honors programs that have a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above.

"Our tennis program is strongly committed to excelling in the classroom, and earning these academic awards is a great way to demonstrate that," Eastern Florida State College women's tennis coach Jerry Thor said. "We provide our student-athletes with the best possible college experience, and we're proud of the high-quality education they receive here at Eastern Florida."

Katharina Drebka, Giulianna Hull and Samantha Martin were all named to the All-Academic Team with grade point averages over 3.50. Hull finished the year with a 4.0 GPA, while Martin finished with a 3.74 and Drebka had a 3.50.
