Drebka, Capra Earn Recognition

Women's tennis player Katharina Drebka and baseball player Vinny Capra are the Eastern Florida State College Student-Athletes of the Week for the week ending April 10.

Drebka, a freshman from Stuttgart, Germany, defeated Nastya Goncharova of Broward College in the quarterfinals of the No. 1 singles draw at the Region 8 Tennis Championships in Altamonte Springs before falling to top-seeded Macarena Olivares of ASA Miami in the semifinals. Drebka finishes the season as the No. 3 ranked singles player in Florida.

The Titans finished fifth among seven teams in the tournament.

Capra, a sophomore shortstop from Melbourne, Florida and Melbourne Central Catholic, went 10-for-14 at the plate in three games with five runs batted in, four runs scored, a double and a triple as the Titans went 2-1.
